Where to caffeinate in Pune, India
I'm so excited because I finally had some time to do this post! This post really means a lot to me because it's about India, where my family is from. I know most people don't associate India with delicious coffee (I know I was skeptical at first) but my family assured me that India has delicious coffee, in addition to delicious chai and...they were right!!! Today's post focuses on Pune.
Pune
I think it's pretty obvious that I'm a sucker for a great cup of coffee. Luckily, my cousin in Pune feels the same way and took me to her fav spot in town!
First of all, Pune is beautiful. It's serene and is surrounded by lots of trees. Cousin frequents a particular cafe here and I was eager to you or because I had heard so much about it from her. Wowza! There's so much to say about this cafe!
1. They make their own fresh almond milk! It was amazing. Super creamy, thick, nicely foamed in my latte...yummm.
2. In India, it's hard to find organic produce, but they source organic ingredients whenever. Their greens for their salads and sandwiches are so fresh and delicious!
3. They have high quality coffee and espresso beans! I was able to try them prior to coming to the cafe because my cousin sent them to me. The flavor profile of the beans is very rich. It's a bit of a dark roast but very impressive flavor profile and good for coffee.
4. They have these amazing bliss balls in five flavors with no artificial ingredients and they were sooo tasty, satisfying any sweet tooth. I’m guessing they’re made from dates, coconut, cocoa, and other elements of bliss :) How good are they exactly? So good! When we came again the next day, sadly they had already run out of the one we loved. 4. They have these amazing coconut and date balls and they were sooo tasty, satisfying any sweet tooth. 5. They have a really chill ambiance. Really beautiful cultural pictures and pillows. Positive signs and messages everywhere, even in the bathrooms!
6. It’s surrounded by greenery outside. Pure zen!
