Today's post is dedicated to Snowbird Coffee in the Inner Sunset.  I love how they have some great coffee and tea specialty drinks; this is a hard-to-find staple, especially in San Francisco.  I tried the Brevano once and loved the wildflower honey but I wanted that honey in my latte. So now when I come, I usually opt for a self-created beverage: almond milk latte with wildflower honey infused into the steamed milk. It's delicious and perfectly sweet without having to add sugar later and wait for it to dissolve...lame.

From a rating standpoint, I usually look for five criteria (listed under the About Tab): taste, creaminess, presentation, ambiance, and service.

Taste: their lattes are tasty but their almond milk lattes are not smooth enough to drink without sugar. For me, if the latte is that good, it's a 5/5. For Snowbird, I give it a 4/5.

Creaminess: I look for the perfect amount of creaminess where the espresso and the milk becomes one and after finishing my beverage, I love the leftover creamy foam.  There isn't much foam after finishing a Snowbird beverage, but it's still good. I give it a 4/5.

Presentation: Their latte art is cute and I love how the guy brought my latte out to me once he was done; very sweet.  I give it a 5/5.

Ambiance: The place has a decent amount of seating and is cute but the setup makes it a bit cramped.  Toward the back left, there is a station where Green 11 products can be purchased; cool idea but if you don't know about it, it kind of doesn't make sense.  I give it a 4/4.

Service: The service here is great, especially because they let me order my self-created beverage and don't mind steaming the honey with my milk. In addition, I LOVED how the barista came outside to give me my latte (I was outside with my friend).  Very friendly! I give them a 5/5!

Overall: 4/5

I've been here a couple times with a friend and she got the matcha latte twice: once with almond milk and once with regular milk.  She liked it more with almond milk, rather than the regular milk because it was slightly sweeter with the almond milk, which made it more enjoyable.

Final thoughts: Snowbird is a good place to go if you're in Golden Gate Park and need a caffeine fix that isn't Starbucks.   If you're into specialty drinks or are going with a friend who isn't too into coffee, the matcha tea latte is a great compromise that allows you to get your coffee and your friend to get tea-worked perfectly for my friend and me:)
