Seattle-

I'm in Seattle for a day before embarking on a cruise and I def needed a good caffeine fix since the coffee at our hotel was disappointing. I've been here once before a few years back but couldn't remember where I went for the "good juice."

Anyway, we walked through Pike Place Market and I almost walked into Local Color which had decent reviews but the aromas venturing from there were of burnt coffee beans. It also seemed like they use Starbucks crap syrups. So I walked out and kept searching and luckily, I came upon Storyville Coffee Company on 1st St. in downtown just south of the Pike Place Market. I thought I missed it but it's in this little shopping area upstairs. You'll know you are in the right place because you'll see the Crumpet Shop in the same shopping center. Take the elevator upstairs and Ta-da! You've arrived!

So let's get to the good part. The place is super cute and bourgie, just the way I like it hehe. Their logo is cute too. They have a few locations but I just went to the one on 1st St.

My order:

I got a vanilla almond milk latte; they make their own syrup so I had to try it. Wowza! Sooo good. No bitterness and good sweetness. They def use high quality beans and espresso machine. The price was fine-$5.50.

I spoke with a barista afterward and she said their pastries are amazing as well. Woulda tried but I'm heading on a cruise and, well, I knew I'd be eating enough pastries and other goodies.

Would def return! Super cute location and they have private unisex bathrooms; since they are located upstairs, their bathrooms are super clean and you need a key card from them to access so it's super legit and basically for their only guests.  Def try it, if you're ever in Seattle!
