Today's post is about Tartine, which is definitely a neighborhood gem in the Mission.

I came here with a gal pal for some lattes and croissant; she had done a croissant crawl a couple weeks earlier and highly recommended coming here for some croissant fun.

Anyway, the croissants are very delicious: super flaky, high-quality ingredients, and really well-cooked.  The latte, though, especially with the almond milk, was pretty sad haha.

It was pretty bitter and the latte art was okay.  I liked the bowl-shaped mug but that was pretty much it.  I wasn't a huge fan of their espresso as well.  I like having lattes/coffee without sweetness when I am having pastries so the latte paired decently with the croissant but I definitely wouldn't here for the coffee.

Overall: 3/5 for the coffee and 5/5 for the croissant. Yum) (to the latter)
