Today, I checked out Ritual Coffee Roasters in the Mission. Let me just say that the Mission is definitely the hot spot for delicious coffee.
I have been to the quick stop Ritual location in Hayes Valley but wanted to check out the flagship location on Valencia and since Four Barrel was crazy packed (with no available tables), it seemed like the logical move to head to Ritual.
So let's get down to the coffee; the almond milk lattes are pretty good...not burned, which was a huge plus! I still had to add some sweetener but I enjoyed the latte more than my terrible latte weekend a couple weeks back (ahem...Cafe St. George and Flywheel Coffee Roasters). I also like the cute latte art. I tried to snap a picture of my latte next to their sign so if you're wondering what the weird symbol is, is the symbol for Ritual coffee...wah wah...
Anyway, I really like the vibe of this coffee shop; it is super bright and open. I know I talk about this a lot but it's really good to have big, bright windows while working; a lot of coffee shops are cramped or too dark but Ritual has a great indoor and outdoor work space. I was shocked that they have so much seating in the back, the front, and even outside. Baristas are decent...not super warm but they weren't rude, so that's good.
By the way, no WiFi here anymore...so if you're coming to work, be prepared to tether, work offline, or bring a book ;)
Overall: 4/5
